Depart for 2 hours’ drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, River Kwai, we travel west to Kanchanaburi, where we visit firstly the War Museum, which is a replica of the huts of those who lived here during their captivity. The museum displays a collection of records and pictures made and held by the Japanese during World War II and after visit a War Cemetery of allied soldiers who died during the war.Then continue to visit the Bridge over the River Kwai to enjoy its scenery and walk along the bridge and local market nearby.
Then catch the train from the bridge to enjoy an hour and a half experience on the dead railway route. The countryside is scenic, and the most dangerous area is the train runs through the cliff over Kwai River. Lunch is served when you get off the train.
On the way back to Bangkok, Stop at Wat Tham Sua where you will have short stop to see the most beautiful temple in Kanchanaburi and learn about Thai Buddhism from our Local Expert.
